“THERMON” MIQ Mineral Insulated Electric Heating Cable Set – High Quality Trace Heating Cable

Category:

Item Description

Thermon MIQ self-regulating heating cables are for use with high temperature trace heating installations, typically to regulate temperature, maintain viscosity and prevent freezing of pipes, tanks and other equipment which carries liquids. MIQ cable is used extensively for high temperature maintenance and high watt density applications in situations which exceed the limitations of thermoplastic insulated cables. Manufactured using Alloy 825, a high nickel/chromium alloy, MIQ cables are suited to high- temperature environments and offer exceptional resistance to corrosion in chloride, acid, salt and alkaline environments, making them useful in ordinary, high temperature and potentially explosive atmospheres, in accordance with the ATEX directive and the IEC Ex Scheme.
